What is your web address?
Place orders anytime at ship.jackstackbbq.com.
How do I place an order?
Order online at ship.jackstackbbq.com or call 1‑877‑419‑7427.
Can I order now and ship later?
Yes. You can schedule a future ship date that fits your delivery location’s transit window.
Can I use more than one promo code?
We accept one offer code per order. Discounts cannot be combined or applied to previous purchases.
What forms of payment do you accept? Can I use a pre‑paid gift card?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Jack Stack gift cards (including eGift cards). Non‑Jack Stack pre‑paid gift cards may pre‑authorize but will be declined when the order is charged.
Shipping & Delivery
Which carrier do you use?
All orders ship via FedEx.
Can I use my own FedEx account number?
Sorry, no. We ship through a specialized fulfillment center and must use their FedEx account.
Do you guarantee specific delivery dates?
- FedEx Home/Ground: May arrive 1–3 days before or after your requested date, but items will arrive cold and safe.
- Express shipping: Choose this option if you require a guaranteed delivery date.
Do you ship over weekends or for Monday arrival?
To protect product freshness, we do not ship for Monday arrivals.
Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
Yes. These orders must be upgraded to overnight or 2‑day service. Additional charges apply.
Do you ship internationally (including Canada)?
Not at this time. We do not ship perishable food outside the U.S. due to import/export restrictions.
Does someone need to be home to accept delivery?
Not necessarily. We have a signature‑release waiver with FedEx so packages can be left if the location is safe. If the driver determines it isn’t secure (e.g., a busy street corner or inaccessible apartment), the package may be held at the terminal.
Tip: If delivery could be tricky, consider shipping to a work address or a nearby friend/relative.
Important: It’s the purchaser’s responsibility to notify the recipient that a perishable package is on the way.
I entered the wrong address—can you fix it?
Please call us immediately at 877‑419‑7427. Address changes after packing begins can add a 24–48 hour delay.
How long will food stay cold in the box?
We pack extra dry ice and/or gel packs to account for minor delays, but we recommend refrigerating or freezing items as soon as they arrive.
Shipping costs on sauces & rubs seem high—any options?
Our sauces and rubs are also available on Amazon, where shipping may be more cost‑effective: Shop Jack Stack on Amazon.
Packaging & Food Safety
How is the food packaged?
All barbecue is fully cooked before shipping. Meats are vacuum‑sealed and frozen; sides are frozen in sturdy containers.
How do you keep food safe in transit?
We use an insulated cooler with dry ice and/or gel packs based on transit time. Protective packing helps prevent movement and maintain temperature.
Will my food arrive frozen?
Items are shipped frozen and may begin thawing during transit. As long as they arrive cold to the touch, they’re safe to eat or refreeze.
My order arrived thawed—what should I do?
If items are cold to the touch, they’re safe to eat or refreeze. If anything is warm, contact us at 877‑419‑7427 or customercare@jackstackbbq.com.
How long do products last?
- Unopened (refrigerated): Up to 8 days
- Opened (refrigerated): Consume within 48 hours
- Frozen: Up to 1 year if kept continuously frozen
- Sauces & rubs (unopened): 2 years
Why do you ask for the recipient’s phone number?
Because these are perishable shipments, we may need to resolve delivery issues quickly. We never sell phone numbers and only use them in a delivery emergency.
Preparing & Quality
Is the food already cooked?
Yes. Everything is fully cooked—just thaw and reheat according to the included instructions.
How do I prepare the food?
Thaw in the refrigerator for 24–48 hours. Heating instructions are included for oven, microwave, and grill. For best results, we recommend a conventional oven.
Is the shipped product as good as the restaurant?
Yes. We’ve designed our shipping program to deliver the same award‑winning flavor, and we perform regular quality checks.
Ingredients, Allergens & Nutrition
Do your products contain gluten?
All shipping products are gluten‑free except our Cheesy Potato Bake.
Do Jack Stack products contain MSG?
We don’t add MSG except in our KC All‑Purpose Rub. Our BBQ sauces can contain naturally occurring MSG from tomatoes and spices.
Where can I find allergen and ingredient information?
Which sauces are used on meats?
We use our KC Spicy BBQ Sauce on all meats—“spicy” for bold spice flavor, not heat. Our KC Original BBQ Sauce is used in our Hickory Pit Beans.
eGift Cards & Payments
I tried to buy an eGift card but got an error and see a pending charge.
If you didn’t receive an on‑screen or email confirmation, the order did not process. Pending charges will drop off per your bank’s policy.
What does an AVS mismatch mean?
The billing address entered doesn’t match your bank’s records. Please verify your billing address and try again.
Order Changes & Support
I’m missing an item or something arrived damaged—what now?
We’re so sorry. Please call 877‑419‑7427 or email customercare@jackstackbbq.com and we’ll make it right.
Can I add a gift message or change my order after placing it?
Changes can usually be made up to 24 hours before the order ships. Please call us as soon as possible.
Can I pick up these frozen shipping items at a restaurant?
Shipping items are packaged in a separate facility and aren’t available for restaurant pickup. You can order carryout from any location and request items packed cold for travel.
