Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Shipped to Stay Fresh

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

We are previously from the KC area and miss our Jack Stacks visits. We now live 800 miles away and get our fix through the delivery. This Super Bowl package of meats was awesome. Got a quart of beans and a spicy sauce for an complete meal. We fed six people easy with leftovers. Probably could have fed 10 moderate eaters.

We usually stop by Jack Stack BBQ during our drive to and from Arizona every year. We were not going to be making the road trip this year and my husband was saying how much he was going to miss his BBQ. For Valentine's Day, I decided to surprise him with his favorite BBQ. Ordered online and had the items shipped to our home. The items arrived on time, nicely packed and my husband was thrilled. He enjoyed everything and said it tasted just as good as being at the restaurant. We'll definitely be ordering for shipping again soon.

This was a great way to try a bit of everything. I didn't want to cook all day on Christmas this year, so I got this. I'm glad I did; it was a hit. The ribs and sausage were the best in my opinion. The pulled chicken and beef burnt ends were a bit dry, but the bbq sauce really helped. The beef burnt ends also had quite a bit of fat which I am not a fan of; I will order again, but try some new options for the beef and chicken.

For the first time this year, you shipped the pulled chicken rather than the pulled pork with my order. Still good food, but my friends really love your pulled pork. 5 stars as always for the smoked meat. 50-year JackStack (Smokestack) customer. We often ship JackStack to friends and family. 4 stars for the shipping--we ordered in plenty of time for Friday delivery to Florida before Super Bowl, but FedEx immediately said Saturday delivery. It worked since it was for the Sunday party, but it was a bit nerve wracking for options if it didn't show. It did require some expedited thawing. JackStack needed to ship a day earlier for it to arrive on the requested date as shown on their order and this review request. I'll do it again, but remind them next time.

My husband always talked about going to Jack Stack but I have never had the opportunity. The pandemic gave me a excuse to order from them and I was amazed how well it traveled. The Jack Stack Barbecue arrived nicely packaged with the meats vacuum sealed. The ribs, beans, and corn were stand outs, but everything was very good. On a side note, the cooking instructions in the booklet varied a bit from those on the packages. Otherwise everything was great.

I'm a Kansas City girl living in a Texas BBQ world. You just can't beat Jack Stack BBQ for the best quality and best tasting BBQ. The samplers are the best way to get a little taste of all your favorites. We chose brisket (my all time favorite), beef burnt ends, sausage, and chopped beef. And don't forget your add-on sides. Our favorites are the yummy corn and the baked beans. All wonderfully delicious.

Your offer of free beef burnt ends with order hooked us right in- How could we refuse that! Our self made combo of pork ribs, beef rib, burnt ends, chopped brisket and more was packaged perfectly and arrived on time. We ate like kings and queens on our anniversary! BUT - it was so extremely good, we wanted to share. These times are not easy and take out is always a pick-me-up. So we ordered the same thing for our niece and family AND my cousin and family. Those 2 families were surprised and extremely excited. All food was wonderful and we have made new customers for you! Thank you for your wonderful service and food. I'm a Kansas City girl living in a Texas BBQ world. You just can't beat Jack Stack BBQ for the best quality and best tasting BBQ. The samplers are the best way to get a little taste of all your favorites. We chose brisket (my all time favorite), beef burnt ends, sausage, and chopped beef. And don't forget your add-on sides. Our favorites are the yummy corn and the baked beans. All wonderfully delicious.

I did the "create my own" with Pulled Pork, Chicken Wings, Beef Burnt Ends and the Beans. So Delicious! The delivery was delayed and sat in a Warehouse over a weekend, no fault of Jack Stack. Guess what? They resent the order overnight, no questions asked! Lifetime customer right here. Thank you Jack Stack!

Because of the pandemic, we ordered this selection in celebration of Mother's Day. It's always a party when we indulge at Jack Stack's. Everything arrived, just as described, solidly frozen and in a cooler. Preparation seemed fairly simple, and the results were great! Of course, we expected this, anyway. We've been eating at Jack Stack's for years and have always been pleased. Thanks for a successful Mother's Day, JS!

Since living in the KC area I was missing the best BBQ. Recently ordered for Easter and all arrived frozen even in the FL heat. Way to make me smile JS! If you live in an area that's steamy just ask for additional dry ice.

Your offer of free beef burnt ends with order hooked us right in- How could we refuse that! Our self made combo of pork ribs, beef rib, burnt ends, chopped brisket and more was packaged perfectly and arrived on time. We ate like kings and queens on our anniversary! BUT - it was so extremely good, we wanted to share. These times are not easy and take out is always a pick-me-up. So we ordered the same thing for our niece and family AND my cousin and family. Those 2 families were surprised and extremely excited. All food was wonderful and we have made new customers for you! Thank you for your wonderful service and food. We are out of state and the food was as good as if we were sitting there in KC! Thank you again.

Frozen food often feels like it loses several levels of quality when it's thawed out and reheated but everything that I received my birthday was of top quality.
