Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

We have been to Jack Stack BBQ restaurants several times while visiting family in Kansas City. At first I wasn't sure about placing an order and having it shipped to Ohio. But everything was vacuum sealed, pack on ice in styrofoam shipping container and was still cold when it arrived with no problems. The order came with heating instructions and everything tasted great. We had the sliced brisket, chopped brisket, pulled pork, sausage, beef burnt ends, and potatoes. We will definitely be ordering again.

Our family found a Jack Stack restaurant while dropping off our son/grandson in northwestern MO. We do not have a JS in the St. Louis area, but do like BBQ so took a little detour to go to Lee Summit to give it a try. Lucky for us. So for the next four years, every time any of us were up there for football games, family day, moving in/out--we made sure to include Jack Stack for a delicious meal. Food is great, service is good, and prices were in line to what we know at home. Now we have no one going up that way and it's a bit far to travel for a day trip--so we decided to surprise the men in the family with a Father's Day treat. We ordered on line, created what we wanted and added a little bit more. Dad, Grandpa, and the recent college grad were surprised and thrilled to have their favorite bbq and the ladies in the family were pleased to serve the great meal without the hard work of planning, cooking, grilling, and also trying to imitate the super good sauce. Thanks for the excellent food and the speedy and careful delivery. We'll be ordering again for the next family gathering.

My husband grew up in the Kansas City area, and we still have lots of family there. Jack Stack is always on the schedule at least once when we visit; whether it's dine in or takeout. In fact - it is our restaurant of choice for any celebrations, holidays, etc.
We have now ordered Jack Stack to be delivered to our home in AZ twice, and it ABSOLUTELY does not disappoint! Our home takes on the familiar aroma and the taste is just like we are back in Kansas City!

The baked beans taste like none other, and I suspect their BBQ sauce is what makes it so. The prime was out of this world good: tender, juicy, cooked to perfection. The sausage would have made a German grandmother proud. You can't go wrong with Jack Stack BBQ, but I'd recommend one of their sampler dinners to get a little taste of everything.

Growing up in Kansas City included tasting many different BBQs. In my travels I've come to know that Jack's Stack BBQ is hands down the best! I've had food shipped to me and family many times. We are a family of Kansas City expats living in Salt Lake City now. Had to get some authentic KC BBQ to celebrate the Super Bowl. Jack Stack came through. Everything tasted awesome. They had us a little worried, because the order was expected on Friday, and wasn't delivered until Saturday. Also, the cheesy corn was a little on the runny side. I added some extra frozen corn and it was fine. All in all, a great meal, and every last bite was devoured! And it was a great day to be a Chiefs fan!

We've been KC fans since the 1980's although we've never lived anywhere besides NJ. That said, how else to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday without our favorite KC BBQ? It was a complete hit! As more people RSVPd, we ordered more and more and it always arrived on time (even earlier!)! Our guests were amazed with the taste and quality of the food! Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Our hickory-fired barbecue is fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and shipped with dry ice and in durable, reusable, insulated coolers.

Shipped to Stay Fresh

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

We have been to Jack Stack BBQ restaurants several times while visiting family in Kansas City. At first I wasn't sure about placing an order and having it shipped to Ohio. But everything was vacuum sealed, pack on ice in styrofoam shipping container and was still cold when it arrived with no problems. The order came with heating instructions and everything tasted great. We had the sliced brisket, chopped brisket, pulled pork, sausage, beef burnt ends, and potatoes. We will definitely be ordering again.

Our family found a Jack Stack restaurant while dropping off our son/grandson in northwestern MO. We do not have a JS in the St. Louis area, but do like BBQ so took a little detour to go to Lee Summit to give it a try. Lucky for us. So for the next four years, every time any of us were up there for football games, family day, moving in/out--we made sure to include Jack Stack for a delicious meal. Food is great, service is good, and prices were in line to what we know at home. Now we have no one going up that way and it's a bit far to travel for a day trip--so we decided to surprise the men in the family with a Father's Day treat. We ordered on line, created what we wanted and added a little bit more. Dad, Grandpa, and the recent college grad were surprised and thrilled to have their favorite bbq and the ladies in the family were pleased to serve the great meal without the hard work of planning, cooking, grilling, and also trying to imitate the super good sauce. Thanks for the excellent food and the speedy and careful delivery. We'll be ordering again for the next family gathering.

My husband grew up in the Kansas City area, and we still have lots of family there. Jack Stack is always on the schedule at least once when we visit; whether it's dine in or takeout. In fact - it is our restaurant of choice for any celebrations, holidays, etc.
We have now ordered Jack Stack to be delivered to our home in AZ twice, and it ABSOLUTELY does not disappoint! Our home takes on the familiar aroma and the taste is just like we are back in Kansas City!

The baked beans taste like none other, and I suspect their BBQ sauce is what makes it so. The prime was out of this world good: tender, juicy, cooked to perfection. The sausage would have made a German grandmother proud. You can't go wrong with Jack Stack BBQ, but I'd recommend one of their sampler dinners to get a little taste of everything.

Growing up in Kansas City included tasting many different BBQs. In my travels I've come to know that Jack's Stack BBQ is hands down the best! I've had food shipped to me and family many times. It is always fabulous. Just as if freshly served at the restaurant. Good portions, thoughtfully packaged. Worth every penny. Just don't forget to order an extra bottle of BBQ sauce and/or rub so you can enjoy the goodness in many meals to come.

We are a family of Kansas City expats living in Salt Lake City now. Had to get some authentic KC BBQ to celebrate the Super Bowl. Jack Stack came through. Everything tasted awesome. They had us a little worried, because the order was expected on Friday, and wasn't delivered until Saturday. Also, the cheesy corn was a little on the runny side. I added some extra frozen corn and it was fine. All in all, a great meal, and every last bite was devoured! And it was a great day to be a Chiefs fan!

We've been KC fans since the 1980's although we've never lived anywhere besides NJ. That said, how else to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday without our favorite KC BBQ? It was a complete hit! As more people RSVPd, we ordered more and more and it always arrived on time (even earlier!)! Our guests were amazed with the taste and quality of the food! We were delighted to share a little bit of KC with our friends and family here in Jersey. Until next year, we'll be back in person a few more times and of course when we can't, at least we know we can ship quickly and easily!

I recently had Jack Stack barbecue shipped to my home in Gainesville, Florida for my retirement and a Chiefs' victory party. It arrived frozen and the heating instructions were very easy to follow and proved accurate. My guests were stunned by how tender, flavorful, and delicious all the various items were. My mom and I had passed through Kansas City on our way cross country in the summertime and had such a good time eating this delicious barbecue that I ordered this for her for Christmas. Well the Fed ex was really slow and getting the product to her at her retirement community in Florida she still was thrilled when she got it and it was just as delicious as the meal we shared in the past summer!
