Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

  • Shipping charges are applied to each shipping address provided.

The shipment was on time, and they package all contents carefully. Everything was fresh, and very tasty. This was our first order from them, and we got a sample of several things to try new tastes. My husband is from Texas and loves BBQ. We were both a bit disappointed, mainly due to the overly sweet flavor of everything we tried. The chopped meat came already blended with their bbq sauce, and I felt as though I was eating dessert for dinner. The bbq beans had pieces of meat and lots of other complex flavors, but also had way too much sugar. Obviously, this is just a personal taste as we can tell the products are high quality, and prepared with quality ingredients. Just a bit too sweet for our taste.

I have never found a Jack Stack BBQ product that wasn't superb. The pulled chicken is no exception and makes the most wonderful sandwiches. The only problem is how quickly it disappears and it doesn't regenerate. Fortunately, I can buy more and Jack Stack delivery and service is superb. I miss the restaurants terribly since moving, but delivery saves me until I return to KC. Thanks Jack Stack!
