Heating Guide

Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Our hickory-fired barbecue is fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and shipped with dry ice and in durable, reusable, insulated coolers.

Shipped to Stay Fresh

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

Shipping charges are applied to each shipping address provided.
Orders made by 11:30 a.m. (CT) will be processed that day and orders taken after 11:30 a.m. (CT) will be applied the following business day.

We are previously from the KC area and miss our Jack Stacks visits. We now live 800 miles away and get our fix through the delivery. This Super Bowl package of meats was awesome. Got a quart of beans and a spicy sauce for an complete meal. We fed six people easy with leftovers. Probably could have fed 10 moderate eaters.

We usually stop by Jack Stack BBQ during our drive to and from Arizona every year. We were not going to be making the road trip this year and my husband was saying how much he was going to miss his BBQ. For Valentine's Day, I decided to surprise him with his favorite BBQ. Ordered online and had the items shipped to our home. The items arrived on time, nicely packed and my husband was thrilled. He enjoyed everything and said it tasted just as good as being at the restaurant. We'll definitely be ordering for shipping again soon.

This was a great way to try a bit of everything. I didn't want to cook all day on Christmas this year, so I got this. I'm glad I did; it was a hit. The ribs and sausage were the best in my opinion. The pulled chicken and beef burnt ends were a bit dry, but the bbq sauce really helped. The beef burnt ends also had quite a bit of fat which I am not a fan of; I will order again, but try some new options for the beef and chicken.

I've only used Goldbelly in the past for pizzas but decided to branch out a bit...ordered the create your own sampler..we've only eaten the chopped brisket and ribs so far....amazing...I still have the burnt ends and chicken wings and another pack of ribs left...but wow...highly recommend!!!

5 stars as always for the smoked meat. 50-year JackStack (Smokestack) customer. We often ship JackStack to friends and family. 4 stars for the shipping--we ordered in plenty of time for Friday delivery to Florida before Super Bowl, but FedEx immediately said Saturday delivery. It worked since it was for the Sunday party, but it was a bit nerve wracking for options if it didn't show. It did require some expedited thawing. JackStack needed to ship a day earlier for it to arrive on the requested date as shown on their order and this review request. I'll do it again, but remind them next time.

I originally visited Jack Stack in 1994 when I was visiting friends in KC. I couldn't stop eating then and I have been looking for a way to get some delivered to my home in Seattle. I was delighted they offered a special during the NFL Playoffs. This was just the excuse I was looking for and I was able to bless several friends here.
The baby back ribs were unbelieveably awesome. Sausage was a little dry (I should have added more extra sauce than I did). Beef burnt ends were amazingly tender. Chopped beef was flavorful. It was pretty easy to warm everything via the directions on the packaging so timing for it all to come out together was a no-brainer.

My husband and I visited my penpal in Kansas City in 2018. My pen pal and I have written to each other for 55 years. While visiting them in KC , she and her husband took us to their favorite KC BBQ place,Jack Stacks ,for dinner!! Exceptional!!
We have not been able to get out there since then. We live in NE PA We saw that Jack Stack BBQ FedEx's their Bbq! Ordered the mixed platter of meats and they came in perfect shape. We are savoring each mouth watering bite of the Bbq. We have had the burnt ends so far. And have frozen the other 3 types of BBQ to enjoy later. I've been eating Jack Stack since 1997, when I used to travel to Kansas City for business. I now live in Dallas and order online. The food is always incredibly delicious, it reheats as if being served in the restaurant. The beef burnt ends are out of this world. If you can work the beef rib into your package-do so, you won't be disappointed. One of the best pieces of BBQ I've ever had. I love this stuff!

This was a gift and we love bbq so we really looked forward to receiving it. We have tried the ribs, the burnt ends, and the poor Russ so far. The burnt ends were fabulous! I've had them before but not like these. We will definitely order again. We also loved the ribs. They are done perfectly. The baby back ribs are already sauced and I found that sauce to be a little hot for me, but the ribs are fantastic! We also ordered a bottle of the original sauce. Again....excellent.

After 15" on the grill we enjoyed the most tender, tasty meat that melted in our mouths. My husband always talked about going to Jack Stack but I have never had the opportunity. The pandemic gave me a excuse to order from them and I was amazed how well it traveled. Everything heated up nicely and tasted soooo good! Since my original order I have ordered from there 2 more times in 2 months. Hands down the best BBQ I have ever ordered!
