Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

I used to live in KS, and Jack Stack was my favorite. I recently ordered ribs, burnt ends, and sides. The ribs and burnt ends were excellent, but the sides were disappointing. I ordered beans and cheesy corn. What came was mostly sauce. The flavors were good, just as I remembered, but too few beans, too little corn. I ended up adding a can of beans and a can of corn. I figured it was just one of those things, but thought you ought to know.,

Yes, on the planet. My wife and I have dined at barbecue joints in Kansas City and Memphis and points in-between. Jack Stack in-person at The Freight House is incredible! So from that experience we ordered our favorites online. Again, incredible! Our order was just as tasty and as meaty and scrumptious as dining in-house. One small flaw: the Cheesy Corn Bake was not as good as our order when we dined at the Freight House in-person. But as with each of our orders, the barbecue is fabulous as are the sides. If you think your local place is great, you must order Jack Stack barbecue to enjoy at home. But be careful, you might be spoiled by its incredible flavor. Try it folks. None better. And no, I do not work for Jack Stack.

Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

I used to live in KS, and Jack Stack was my favorite. I recently ordered ribs, burnt ends, and sides. The ribs and burnt ends were excellent, but the sides were disappointing. I ordered beans and cheesy corn. What came was mostly sauce. The flavors were good, just as I remembered, but too few beans, too little corn. I ended up adding a can of beans and a can of corn. I figured it was just one of those things, but thought you ought to know.,

Our food came just when we hoped it would, and tasted great. My only complaint is that the individual items in the Classic Jack needed to be baked at different temperatures for different lengths of time. That made it pretty tricky to get everything out and served at the same time.

Yes, on the planet. My wife and I have dined at barbecue joints in Kansas City and Memphis and points in-between. Jack Stack in-person at The Freight House is incredible! So from that experience we ordered our favorites online. Again, incredible! Our order was just as tasty and as meaty and scrumptious as dining in-house. One small flaw: the Cheesy Corn Bake was not as good as our order when we dined at the Freight House in-person. But as with each of our orders, the barbecue is fabulous as are the sides. If you think your local place is great, you must order Jack Stack barbecue to enjoy at home. But be careful, you might be spoiled by its incredible flavor. Try it folks. None better. And no, I do not work for Jack Stack.

I am never disappointed in any JSB products. It's like having a picnic at home. Probably the best BBQ Beans I ever had. I love the corn as well, although I personally prefer a "tighter" and less watery corn. Delicious, nevertheless. All in all, a wonderful dinner you can just heat up and enjoy.

Ribs & burnt ends excellent. Baked beans a hit. Cheesy corn is not my thing, but everyone else liked it. Only flaw was sauce leaking from the bottle. Yes, it was sealed, but sauce was coming from under the seal making a sticky mess on the side of the bottle.

Our son moved to Wisconsin in 2017. So he could feel 'at home' watching the Chiefs in the Super Bowl this year, I shipped him some KC favorites from Jack Stack. A cousin up there, who is a frequent KC visitor and loves Jack Stack, commented that he'd like to have some too. So I sent a second shipment a just a few weeks ago to the cousin for his birthday. Enjoyed everything but the corn. Delivery was on time. Enjoyed leftovers for a couple days, but I sure missed the restaurant service. Did not miss driving 4 hours each way though. Thank you for having this service.
