Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Packages are shipped Monday through Thursday via FedEx for delivery within the same business week. Arrival dates are based on earliest possible date for your recipient. Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

Try to always have the parts of the Sandwich Package in our freezer. It is so convenient to toss one of the meats in the microwave to begin thawing out. Always have slider or hamburger buns in the freezer. Some condiments on the buns; squeeze out the package contents or cut the brisket into shorter segments; layer of meat & a piece of cheese; pop in the microwave and I can serve a delicious plate to serve. Everyone raves about how good they are and I can go from "need" to "serving" in 30 minutes.

When I'm in KC and eat BBQ I typically prefer a sandwich which is why I really enjoy this option. Each item is individually wrapped so you can order this and eat is slowly over time if you're not having a large party. Very nice sampling of chicken, beef and pork. Item reheats very nicely when you follow the directions. My only regret is I wished it included the Jack Stack smoked turkey too, but that doesn't detract from The Serious Sandwich Lover package.

I had hoped the barbecue would be really good. It far exceeded my expectations. The baked beans are like nothing we've ever had! I'll never be happy with Bush's again. The brisket was tender, smoked just right. The barbecue sauce is excellent. We haven't tried the other parts of the order, but have no doubt it will be fantastic as well.
