Handling Guidelines for your Jack Stack BBQ Shipment

UNPACK & STORE: Your BBQ package arrives fully cooked, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen to hold in all its flavor and moisture. Be careful with any leftover dry ice. No Dry Ice? No Problem. If it's still cool to touch, you can put the product in your freezer for up to six months.

THAW & HEAT: Thaw products in refrigerator for 24 to 72 hours depending on the density of the item. Some products may be boiled in their bag. For all other items remove the sealed plastic before heating.

The Heating Guide

To enjoy Jack Stack BBQ products at their best, proper heating is essential. We strongly encourage you to use your grill for heating meats when it's recommended. We do not recommend heating any of our products in the microwave with the exception of our two desserts, Mom's Carrot Cake and Triple Chocolate Brownie.

Most ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping and handling charges are based on merchandise total per recipient address and shipping method. Express service for guaranteed arrival dates and/or Saturday delivery (where available) is optional for an additional charge.

I was a little disappointed that they were already seasoned with a rub, but it wasn't overpowered by garlic. I brined them anyway during thawing with brown sugar, salt, apple cider vinegar, some smoky bbq sauce( just a tsp), and a pinch of my own spice rub. After 3 hours, I rinsed and dried them and liberally rubbed my own spice mix, grilled them on low-med heat for an hour, then mopped them with my own mop-sauce (sweet, spicy and vinegary) back side for 15 minutes then front for 25 minutes on higher heat. Took them off, let 'em rest for 10 minutes, then cut 'em up. Super tender, fall off the bone and spectacular flavor- my friends all want me to make them for them, so I guess I'll be ordering these again and again...Very Happy
